Rachel Klinger Cain

Born and raised in one of the most religiously conservative counties in the United States, I was instilled with Christian values from an early age. It was such a important focus, that even though our local public schools were notoriously conservative to the point of gifting bibles to graduates, my parents opted to send me to private Christian schools. While I struggled academically due to undiagnosed ADHD, I showed a particular interest in and aptitude for theology, church history, apologetics, logic, and rhetoric classes.

At 25, after becoming a mother, my life took an unexpected turn as I lost my faith and began deconstructing the beliefs that had shaped my entire existence. And then in 2020, already an award winning teacher, I found my calling in an unlikely place - TikTok.

With a focus on authenticity and empathy, I share my personal deconstruction journey, engaging with arguments from a religious perspective. I've carved out a space on the platform, offering solace and guidance to those navigating the complex process of deconstructing their faith.

When I'm not educating and supporting my online community, I am wife to my high school sweetheart and mother to our two children. My family, which also includes three mischievous dogs, resides in the community that shaped my formative years - a reminder of how far I've come.
